This is the third mood board that I am sharing with you, my readers. My previous boards set the tone for the season. This one is timeless. Black. Not your sexy, bewitching black but a style that is menswear inspired. As you may already noticed from my past posts I am mad about mixing feminine and masculine pieces. What’s most important to be able to pull off an all black look is to mix different fabric textures and finishes. Velvet, black denim, silk, tweed (as shown here) wool, jersey and fake fur will all lend a hand in making an interesting play layered over each other. Maybe a choice of three different finishes.

I find sleek sophistication and fun playing with gender. Therefore this is a sneak peek at what’s to come the next couple of weeks. We have to get dressed everyday, why not enjoy it!
