A word about my outfit. Here is the perfect example how black will not be boring if you mix the different materials and fabric textures. I have on a lightweight cashmere turtleneck, a leather circle skirt, suede V-cut booties, a lovely vintage quilted Chanel bag and a streamlined minimalist gold necklace (a gift from someone dear to me that is no longer avalailable at Nordstrom’s). A jewellery item with that much impact stands on it’s own as the focal point of the outfit. The officer’s coat is the icing on the cake. It gives my outfit interest balancing a structured masculine cut coat with a very feminine look.
