Opera Black

A big thanks to SECONDEMAINDELUXE for their wonderful collaboration on this post. The founder of this 2nd hand luxury online boutique is very selective on the items she features for sale. She is a trusted source for high-end luxury 2nd hand items to be in the best condition possible. You may find the Chanel vintage bag and the Prada officers coat  on their online shop.

A word about my outfit. Here is the perfect example how black will not be boring if you mix the different materials and fabric textures. I have on a lightweight cashmere turtleneck, a leather circle skirt, suede V-cut booties, a lovely vintage quilted Chanel bag and a streamlined minimalist gold necklace (a gift from someone dear to me that is no longer avalailable at Nordstrom’s). A jewellery item with that much impact stands on it’s own as the focal point of the outfit. The officer’s coat is the icing on the cake. It gives my outfit interest balancing a structured masculine cut coat with a very feminine look.

You may shop similar items to what I am wearing in the links to follow: Cashmere turtleneck: Equipement. Leather circle skirt: Bagatelle. Military  coat: Zara. Fringe necklace: Gorjana. Suede V-booties: Zara.
