One of the many questions that is always asked of my image consulting clientele is: How to style the lovely collection of scarves that they have?
I recently discovered at a fashion event Solito scarves . I was instantly drawn to the number I am wearing that is made with a multiple of fine fabrics, different prints and textures. It’s a beautiful piece of artwork for one that appreciates fine craftmanship and unique pieces. You find different prints (horses, humming birds and graphic stripes) and textures (ribbons, tassels, fringed sparkly edging) that make this scarf whimsical. I layered the scarf over a lace slip dress. I made it short to serve as a summer dress. I then decided to leave it hang long. This version would be best for use as a (sarong) pareo over a bathing suit. Wear it also as a simple stylish scarf. A cross-body bag in an unexpected caramel, earthy wooden bangles and luxe lace flats that are a contemporary alternative to ballet flats complete the look.
To recreate this look: Try this slip dress from Hanro that gives more coverage, Solito Scarf, Wooden bangles, Tory Burch cross-body bag, Gianvito Rossi lace flats
