ONE DRESS TWO WAYS: The customisation of this dress was done by me.  I shortened the hem and replaced the position of the ribbons. Therefore if you would like to purchase the dress it may differ from the dress I am wearing.

This is an amazing cold shoulder dress that is all the rage this Autumn season. I love it for the color, the vintage feeling and that Olivia Palermo had a hand in designing it for Banana Republic. How to wear a cold shoulder dress without being too cold? Going to holiday event the dress may be worn as is. Complete the look with nude, strappy heels and a vintage inspired bag. I advise a faux fur wrap or stole in case you are not staying warm by dancing the night away.

Adapt the dress for daytime as I demonstrated in the pictures above. I layered it over a black fine cashmere turtleneck, black boots and a bucket bag. Anything is possible with some imagination. Love this look for its’ more urban vibe!

Shop the look: Olivia Palermo Dress For Banana Republic  in peach, Olivia Palermo Dress For Banana Republic  in olive green, Bronx Suede Boots, Alexander Wang Bucket Bag, Halogen Cashmere Turtleneck or Steve Madden Stecy Nude Sandal, the ivory ostrich leather handbag is a find from a vintage shop try Gucci Bamboo Top Handle Bag

I would like to share with you, my readers, that I will be taking a partial Winter hiatus. This due to the fact that most of my looks are shot outside and I am in Switzerland subjected to very cold unpredictable weather. I say partial because although I may post on the blog from time to time I will still be very active on Instagram. Tune-in to the #ootd’s (in Instagram lingo “outfit of the day”) which you can be sure that it will include a coat.

I thank you for reading and I wish you all a pleasant and warm holiday season.
